Hamakua is located in the center of 40 acres in the pure, clean and lush highlands of Hawaii. It is off-grid, yet has excellent cell phone reception and wireless connection. You may explore the nature walks, gardens and waterfalls or relax on the patios, porches, and lawns alone or together with other members of the retreat. A number of off-site excursions are also available at additional fees. A whale watching trip will be organized if enough interest is there among participants.  Please note: If you would like to purchase any of the instruments we will be using while at the retreat, please let us know by July 1, and they will be waiting for you upon your arrival in Hawaii. All of the instruments are available, including the adungu, the akogo, the didgeridoo, and the djembe. Discounts will be given to those who order before the retreat instead of waiting to purchase at the retreat.
